Product Details

PSK Ayur Vadi Matta Rice 10kg is a traditional South Indian red parboiled rice with a distinctive earthy flavour, hearty texture and characteristic reddish-brown grain. Matta rice is particularly associated with Kerala cuisine and is very different in appearance and texture from polished white rice or basmati.

Distinctive Kerala-Style Rice

Matta rice has a firm, substantial bite that works especially well with rich curries and traditional Kerala meals. The grains retain more texture after cooking, giving the finished rice the robust character for which Matta varieties are known.

Ideal for:

• Kerala-style meals
• Sambar and rice
• Fish curry
• Chicken and meat curries
• Avial
• Thoran and vegetable dishes
• Curd and rice
• Traditional sadya meals

A Generous Pack for Regular Use

The 10kg size is particularly practical for families that regularly eat Matta rice and prefer keeping a larger quantity of this traditional staple at home.
